Most of the time, you will be swiping into the dining halls we have three that all have different food. Dining halls are all-you-can-eat buffet style oh, yeah.

These are all take-away options, as you swipe for a pre-portioned meal sandwich, side, and a drink and then can take it into campus to eat.

I mentioned meal periods; these are times breakfast from am, lunch from , etc. On to roommates now! You can either have a single, double, or triple. I had a triple my first year and it was honestly not that bad. If you really want, you can request a room change. Get excited. It is really weird to have sleepovers every night of the week. Besides all the delicious food and the classrooms on the Hill, you can find a few other fun things. For one there is the Sunset Recreation Center. You're also restricted to one swipe per meal period, so you can't swipe in friends.

You can't "split" a meal plan that way in any effective way. For example, if you're planning on going home every weekend, the 11 plan might work for you. Most people I know have 14 or 14P, but it's really your individual choice. If it was a day or 2 I could understand them deducting our swipes. Coming from someone who is an RA, this is ridiculous.

Housing is punishing students for their own internal error and providing zero compensation. I ask how many swipes I have almost every time I swipe, and I use that number to help determine if I can swipe friends, residents, etc. The graph below shows how many swipes students reported Housing officials deducted from their meal plans.

The graph omits five outliers in which students said they had lost a greater amount of swipes than those displayed below.
